Air2Web's management team consists of successful entrepreneurs and seasoned managers who are leaders in the fields of the mobile computing, wireless communications, e-commerce, and Internet security, and who have a successful track record of developing high-growth enterprises in the technology space.

		TOM COTNEY President & CEO Thomas (Tom) Cotney serves as Air2Web’s President & CEO, responsible for driving all company strategy and execution. Tom brings more than 25 years of experience in both large and small company cultures. Over the past decade, Tom demonstrated his ability to develop talent within organizations across several functional areas including sales, client management, service delivery, finance and human resources. Previous executive positions held by Tom include posts at IBM Global Services, Apple Computer, and Norrel Corporation.

		CURTIS RAPP Vice President of Sales & Marketing Curtis Rapp serves as Air2Web’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, responsible for leading the company’s revenue generation activities including inside/direct/channel sales, systems engineering, account management and company marketing strategy. Curt brings more than 20 years of experience in executive sales management creating and developing high performance sales processes at start-ups and established organizations. Previous executive and senior level positions held by Curt include posts at Omnilink, Interwoven, MAPICS and IBM. He has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Pace University (NY) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Rhode Island.

		HARVEY SCHOLL Senior Vice President and CTO Harvey serves as Air2Web's Senior Vice President of Operations and CTO, responsible for managing the company’s worldwide customer-facing technical operations and overseeing Air2Web's global network operation centers. He also oversees Air2Web’s Client Services team. He joined Air2Web in October 2008 with more than 15 years of experience that includes Platform Monitoring, Process Reengineering, Infrastructure Management, Software Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Customer Service. Most recently, as Executive Director of Data Systems for AT&T’s Yellowpages.com, Harvey managed a team of over 40 technology and business resources responsible for the acquisition, management and publication of industry leading local business information. Past work also includes positions with MCI, Nortel, Simon & Schuster and Fleetcor. Harvey holds an MBA in Operations from The Georgia Institute of Technology and received a Bachelor of Arts in Management from La Salle University where he graduated with Honors.

		JAY SHETH Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Jay Sheth serves as Air2Web’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, leading the company’s sales efforts with wireless carriers and email marketing vendors, and providing executive oversight of Air2Web’s growing subsidiary in India. He has more than 18 years of telecommunications industry experience, including serving as Executive Director for Wireless Business Development at General Motors' OnStar division—a leading provider of location-based safety, security, information and telecommunications services in vehicles. Jay also held various marketing, business development and product management positions with Sprint Corporation and GTE Corporation. He holds a master's degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University.

		DANESE SIMPKINS Director of Human Resources Danese Simpkins serves as Air2Web's Director of Human Resources responsible for assessing the human resource needs of the organization and formulating and implementing key objectives that impact human capital. She has broad knowledge acquired through progressively responsible assignments in human resources and legal in various industries including private and federal law firms, consulting and technology environments. Prior to joining Air2Web, Danese held the position of Regional HR Business Partner and interim HR Manager with Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a global human resources consulting firm, supporting multiple offices in the West and East coast. Danese holds a Masters of Science and a Bachelors of Science degree (cum laude) from Troy State University. She is also PHR certified thru HR Certification Institute which indicates that she has demonstrated mastery of the HR body of knowledge and has accepted the challenge to stay informed of new developments in the HR field.

BRIAN W. HAYHURST

Managing Director, The Carlyle Group, Washington, DC

Brian is a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group with a primary focus on U.S. growth capital investments in software, network infrastructure and services. Since joining The Carlyle Group in 1997, he has led many of the U.S. venture capital fund’s software and technology investments. Prior to joining Carlyle, Brian worked in the Venture Capital Group of Morgan Keegan, Inc., where he was one of two principal investors, and, before that, he served for nine years in the corporate audit and merger & acquisitions services group at Deloitte & Touche. Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors of Air2Web, Archive Systems, Compusearch Software Systems, Inc. and SchoolNet, Inc. In 2005, he was honored with the Financier of the Year award by The Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC Technology Councils. Brian is an honors graduate of Rhodes College.

PATRICK GALLAGHER

Principal, VantagePoint

Pat brings 14 years of technology investing, operations and finance experience to Air2Web’s board. Prior to joining VantagePoint in 2008, Pat was a Principal at American Capital's Technology Group where he was charged with developing and implementing marketing strategies to build a national presence. Previously, Pat worked at Morgan Stanley Venture Partners where he represented deals in excess of $100 million in capital for initial and follow-on investments. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he held management roles at RealNames, an internet services company, and Toyota Motor Corporation. Pat is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College (BA).

JAY CHAUDHRY

Founder, Air2Web

Jay Chaudhry is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced technology executive whose background includes nearly 25 years of sales, marketing and engineering experience at leading companies such as IBM, NCR and Unisys. Jay has also helped to lead the successful launch of several technology companies. In 2002, he launched AirDefense, which pioneered the wireless LAN intrusion detection and prevention market and today serves more than 500 blue chip clients. In 2000, he founded CipherTrust, creating the industry’s first email gateway security appliance. In 1997 he founded SecureIT, the first pure-play Internet security services company, acquired by VeriSign in July 1998. He has been honored as Entrepreneur of the Year in the Southeast and as a finalist for the US national by Ernst & Young. He was named an Innovator & Influencer by Information Week magazine, and “Who’s Who” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Jay holds a Masters in Computer Engineering, Masters in Industrial Engineering, and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. He has attended executive management programs at Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School and IBM Corp.

SANJOY MALIK

Founder, Air2Web

Sanjoy Malik has more than 18 years of experience in the software industry. Before founding Air2Web, he started Synchrologic, Inc., a leading developer of Internet-based mobile computing software. As founder and President, he was responsible for raising venture capital, hiring a successful management team and establishing partnerships with key industry leaders. Prior to founding Synchrologic, Sanjoy spent seven years at Sales Technologies (acquired by Dun & Bradstreet in 1989) in a variety of Senior Product and Engineering positions, and he also held several engineering positions at Intergraph. Sanjoy earned dual master's degrees in Computer Sciences and Engineering from the University of Florida, as well as a bachelor of science degree in Engineering from IIT Delhi.
